You can either give clues for hidden treats along the way or just have one big Easter treat at the end of the hunt, you decide.<\/p>\n<p>Now the best thing about setting this up with Textclues.com is that with a little preparation ahead of time you will have the hunt all ready to go on the day.\u00a0 With this tool, you can even set up several different scavenger hunts that will start at the time you decide.\u00a0 If you have two or three children they can each follow the same or different clues and have a great time searching for their treats.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s so simple.\u00a0 To set up your Easter hunt, first, you\u2019ll need to decide on whether you\u2019ll give the kids a few treats along the way or a big treat on completion.\u00a0 Then think up some clues to lead them to a specific location to get their treat and the next clue.\u00a0 You should be able to come up with 10 &#8211; 20 clues without too much trouble.<\/p>\n<p>So, here is an example of a hunt to start you off:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Clue<\/em><\/strong>:\u00a0 Ready to get some clues to find your Easter treats?\u00a0 Reply with Answer, \u201cYes\u201d or \u201cNo\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Answer:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 \u201cYes\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Clue:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Your first clue is hidden in a place that\u2019s not far, go to the cupboard where Mommy\u2019s clothes are.<\/p>\n<p>(clue hidden in the closet says figure out this riddle &#8211; &#8220;The next place to look is always cold, with nice things to eat, maybe this is where you\u2019ll find your Easter treats\u201d text me the answer when you find what\u2019s there).<\/p>\n<p>(hidden in the fridge is a chocolate egg)<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Answer:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Cadbury egg, chocolate egg, egg<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Clue<\/em><\/strong>: Well done!\u00a0 You\u2019ve got your first treat, your next clue is waiting where you normally sit to eat.<\/p>\n<p>(clue hidden under the seat says, now to test your knowledge,\u00a0 what is 10 x 7?)<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Answer:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 70<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Clue:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em> That\u2019s great, you\u2019re really starting to think, this clue says respond with the answer found under the sink<\/p>\n<p>(under the sink is a chocolate treat with a note saying \u201ctasty chocolate\u201d)<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Answer:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 tasty chocolate<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Clue:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 You\u2019re doing well, check out on the deck, behind the chair, tell me what you find there.<\/p>\n<p>Answer:\u00a0 a book, book<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Clue:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Correct,\u00a0 now turn to page 20 and read the note.<\/p>\n<p>(note in book says, go to your bedroom, look under your bed and tell me what you find there)<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Answer:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Marshmallow bunny<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Clue:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Wow, you\u2019re doing so well, continue on this way, we\u2019re having lots of fun, here\u2019s a riddle for you &#8211; I\u2019ll let you open me whenever there is sun, what am I?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Answer:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 A window, window<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Winning message:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em> Yes!\u00a0 Go to the closet in the guest room.\u00a0 (Chocolate basket or bunny is found in the guest room closet)<\/p>\n<p>Have fun with your hunt, you can make it as easy or complicated as you like.\u00a0 If you want to add some educational touches to it, go for it.\u00a0 If your kids are older make the clues a bit more complex and more of a challenge to find.\u00a0 Have fun personalizing it for your family.<\/p>\n<p>Happy Easter everyone.
